A) SPIRITNYS is a 501(c)(3) charity. 

Q) What percentage of my donation goes back to supporting home insecure youth?

A) 100% of your donation goes back to supporting our students by providing them with financial stipends, one on one guidance, and more.

Q) Are you administrators and other staff members paid?

A) No. SPIRITNYS is run entirely by volunteers. 

Q) How do I get involved with SPIRITNYS? I think I’d like to volunteer my time or make a donation.

Q) Will this organization and these efforts to support home insecure students be coming to a high school near me soon? The city I live in unfortunately has a lot of students who are home insecure.

A) While we recognize the serious, nationwide issue of students who are facing homelessness or home insecurity, SPIRIT is currently only serving Rochester, NY. However, we do expect to expand. Initially, we expect to expand in Upstate, NY. If you have a recommendation of an area and/or school that would benefit from the efforts of SPIRITNYS, please do not hesitate to contact us.
